Precision Psychiatry Takes the Stage at AGTA2025

Brisbane, Australia – October 25, 2025 – Ketim Technologies is pleased to announce that Founder and CEO Dr. Clarissa Yates, delivered a Plenary Address at the 2025 Australasian Genomic Technologies Association (AGTA) Conference in Sydney.

At the Roundhouse, UNSW Sydney, Dr. Yates presented “Precision Psychiatry: It’s Not All in the Mind,” outlining how biological data can reshape the future of mental health care.

Her plenary highlighted Ketim’s work developing the world’s first predictive protein blood test for perinatal mental illness. Drawing on population genomics, advanced proteomics, and deeply phenotyped cohort data, the presentation demonstrated how objective biomarkers and AI-driven analytics can support earlier identification, prevention strategies, and more personalised care pathways.

“Mental health is influenced by biology, environment, and lived experience,” said Dr. Yates. “By integrating omics science with clinical insight, we can build tools that move psychiatry toward measurable, preventive medicine.”

The session brought Ketim’s translational research to a leading genomics audience, reflecting the growing intersection between multi-omics platforms and real-world clinical applications.

Ketim Technologies thanks AGTA and Olink Proteomics for the opportunity to contribute to this important scientific dialogue.
