2025 Awards Overview

Brisbane, Australia – January 3, 2026 – 2025 has marked a year of significant national recognition for Ketim Technologies and its Founder and CEO, Dr. Clarissa Yates, with four major awards acknowledging innovation in AI-driven diagnostics and maternal mental health.

The most recent honour comes from the Pearcey Foundation, recognising Dr. Yates for outstanding achievement in ICT entrepreneurship. The award was presented by the Hon. Andrew Powell MP GAICD, Queensland’s Minister for the Environment and Tourism and Minister for Science and Innovation.

Paul Gampe, Queensland Chair of the Pearcey Foundation, stated:

“Dr Yates exemplifies the spirit of innovation — tackling a deeply personal and significant community challenge with scientific rigour and entrepreneurial determination. She is a true inspiration for women in STEM, and her work in AI and diagnostics has the potential to fundamentally change maternal health care for the better, uplifting lives across Australia.

Dr Yates is a biotechnology entrepreneur who transformed her own lived experience with postpartum depression into a nationally recognised innovation.”

Under Dr. Yates’ leadership, Ketim is advancing blood-based diagnostics combined with AI-driven analytics to develop predictive tools for postpartum depression. The company’s work bridges biomarker science and translational medicine, aiming to bring objective measurement and earlier intervention into perinatal mental health care.

“Having experienced postnatal depression myself, my lived experience fuels my commitment to supporting other mothers,” said Dr. Yates. “My vision is to combine personal insight with psychiatric biomarker research to usher in a new era of personalised mental health care.”

The recognition from the Pearcey Foundation adds to three other national awards received in 2025, reflecting growing validation of Ketim’s scientific, technological, and commercial progress.
